MyRunningCalendar.com Provides A Free Ai Software For Runner's
September 22nd 2025
MyRunningCalendar.com provides in-depth statistical analysis for runner's. This unique software (*which I designed and I coded, myself) uses, “running logs,” to create in-depth analysis of a runner’s mileage while also remaining simple to use and easy to navigate.
And I built the running calendar (*MyRunningCalendar.com) as a way to learn to code and to improve my Ai work, which is my focus in tech. I used to regularly record my run's using a pen or a pencil. I run 100-200 times per year for exercise and I would tally my mile's at the end of the year in a notebook. In 2021, I recoded that I had run 291 miles that year by New Year’s end and that I was 74 miles short of averaging 1 mile per day for that year. Thereafter, I spent many weeks debating with myself what the perfect training regiment even was! Was I doing enough miles? Was I doing too little mileage? Should I sprint more often? Should I jog more? Easy miles felt like they weren’t improving my times, stalling my growth as a runner. However, sprint miles which I’ve defined as any distance of less than 800 meters in repetition, or anything less than half mile intervals, felt redundant and I didn’t know if I was doing enough of those, either.
So I studied elite runners, I read a few blogs and I watched a few Youtuber’s. Jakob Ingrebritsen, the world's current number 1 in Middle Distance Running... had a Youtube Channel full of car vlogs? But Nick Symmonds, the former Olympian from Idaho, was an immediate standout as a resource who could guide people to become better runner’s on Youtube. Spencer Brown AKA, “The Athlete Special,” on Youtube, also provided me with a lot of insight into what ADVANCED RUNNING/COLLEGE LEVEL RUNNING looked like. Spence was an All American in Cross Country from Georgetown and he's a fellow loudmouth on Youtube.
Begin The Journey
And honestly just watching 2-3 pro runners on Youtube discuss running for a few years, was all it took. At that point I had a good idea of what was, "GOOD OR BAD," in elite level track and I structured MyRunningCalendar.com to accomodate both elite level and beginning level runner's. And I basically decided from watching them that running anywhere between 10 to 140 miles a week was “normal” in this insane sport of “running.” So I set some really HIGH STANDARDS on the software, while also making the software beneficial for beginners, as well. Where you’ll see on MyRunningCalendar.com that the challenges go all the way up to the pro level in terms of, “goal times.” Regardless, I built the application with the goal of simply providing advanced level analytics and Ai deep dives for High School and College athlete's (*so if you're a pro athlete than maybe go somewhere else for your training). And I started coding the software/app in 2022, I threw away the notebook and the pen that I used to keep track of my runs with and I had initially just added a, “physique estimator,” to the app, based around the concept of running 1 mile per day… to “stay in shape.”
But then the, “Physique Estimator,” which shows pictures of a male/female body relative to your, “avg miles per day,” worked so well… that I ended up coding 5-6 more additions to the application, that I also use now to track my running progress including a near pro-level, "SPEED RATING."
IS THAT TOO CORPORATE?
NOW, some tech giants IE Apple or Google, track people’s movements via their phone’s in terms of just walking… and to add a feature where you DIDN’T EVEN HAVE TO INPUT YOUR RUNS, your device automatically updated the app based upon STEP COUNTS + SPEED would be better… but being as I do NOT own a 100b dollar tech conglomerate (*YET) my application still requests that user’s INPUT THEIR RUNS MANUALLY at the top of the page but it's literally that simple. You just input your jog miles, input your sprint miles... and then the app displays deep dive analytics into your running. MyRunningCalendar.com check it out! And this app will remain free to use for the forseeable future and perhaps something will happen with that, I don't know. Where one of the biggest issues with it… is simply... that I’m NOT A GOOD ENOUGH RUNNER to properly promote it! And I reached out to Spencer Brown AKA, "The Athlete Special," and I offered to give him the website, at very little cost, as an All-American runner might be able to further promote the app more appropriately to the running community.
BUT; I built MyRunningCalendar.com basically just to learn how to code better and to track my running trends. I coded it all by myself and it’s a pretty useful tool for runner's and it includes some Ai, as my personal focus in tech is on Ai.
And if Zuck and Spence want to do something there, or Ronaldo… then by all means.
